FEDERAL PERMITTING AND COMPLIANCE

The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requires federal agencies to consider the environmental impacts from their actions and to prepare detailed assessments of environmental impacts and alternatives to their actions. Perennial has extensive experience working with federal agencies to prepare detailed Environmental Assessments (EA) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) in compliance with NEPA for project-specific impacts on environmental resources and the development of alternative analyses. Additionally, our federal permitting services include field surveys and the preparation and submittal of complete federal application packages. Our expertise, in addition to NEPA, EAs, and EISs, includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Engendered Species Act Section 7 Consultation and Biological Assessments (BA)
  • EAA Section 10 Permitting and Habitat Conservation Plans (HCP)
  • Section 404/401 Clean Water Act Permitting
  • Section 10 Rivers and Harbors Act
  • Section 106 of the Historic Preservation Act
  • Coastal Zone Management Act

STATE AND LOCAL PERMITTING AND COMPLIANCE

In addition to federal permitting, an array of state and local permits is also normally required. Perennial provides detailed full-services environmental application packages and associated plans for state and local regulatory agencies. Some examples of permits we regularly work with are:
